Deets: GrowNYC’s Greenmarket at Rockefeller Center is back on North Plaza from September 4 to October 16, every Wednesday from 8am to 5pm. Experience the magic of the famous Greenmarket network’s freshest fruits, vegetables, artisan breads, baked goods, jams, and more from local producers across Northeast in the heart of the Big Apple. Visitors can also swing by the market information tent for special cooking demonstrations, fun seasonal activities, and expert tips on how to make the most of your market finds.

As part of GrowNYC’s mission to provide equitable access to nutritious food, all Greenmarket locations accept SNAP/EBT, Summer EBT, Debit/Credit, Healthfirst OTC cards (LIP and CC members only), WIC & Senior FMNP coupons, FreshConnect Checks, and Greenmarket Bucks. Customers using SNAP/EBT that spend $2, receive a bonus $2 Health Buck, up to $10 per day.

Producers attending GrowNYC’s Greenmarket at Rockefeller Center include:

  • Breezy Hill Orchard: Orchard and small fruit, cider, baked goods, eggs, pasta, soups from Dutchess County, NY

  • Jersey Farm Produce: Vegetables, herbs, orchard and small fruit from Hunterdon County, NJ

  • Francesca's Bakery: Breads and baked goods from Passaic County, NJ

  • Martin's Pretzels: Hand-rolled hard pretzels from Lancaster, PA & Jefferson NY County, NJ

  • Springs Fireplace: Certified organic hot sauce & salsa from Suffolk County, NY

  • Deep Mountain Maple: Maple syrup and candy from Orleans County, VT

HInt for the Average Socialite: This event is free and open to the public every Wednesday from 8AM-5PM with produce available for purchase. Visit the Greenmarket at Rockefeller Center webpage for daily farmer attendance and information about upcoming activities such as cooking demonstrations and family-friendly programming.
