Deets: This July, Rothy’s is going to install the FIRST ever streetside refill station as a pilot program at the brand’s new 5th Avenue retail store. This hopes to be the first of many throughout NYC and other cities around the country.

Bottle Swap Event: As part of Rothy’s new 5th Avenue store opening celebration, on July 12 and 13 starting at 10AM, Rothy’s will be hosting a “bottle swap” event and will be offering 250 free Hydro Flask bottles per day (while supplies last) in exchange for used plastic water bottles brought in for recycling. People can then fill up their bottles at the refill station installed outside the new store.

The Hydration Station: all New Yorkers can fill up their bottles at our streetside hydration station, the first streetside station in NYC, open from July 12-14. 

Enjoy a Classic New York Treat on Us: Customers and passerbys can enjoy a shaved Italian ice, on Rothy’s, from 12-4pm ET. 

According to a recent survey 82% of people admit to grabbing disposable bottles simply for convenience. And with fewer water fountains in the US than ever, there is simply no sustainable way to fill up a water bottle streetside. While refill stations are starting to pop up in cities, there are not nearly enough to combat the global plastic crisis.

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is free and open to the public.
