Deets: Free sports watch parties and movie screenings will be played on the 30-foot Big Screen in the Public Square & Gardens throughout the season. Seating is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sports Watch Parties – Hundreds of games, series, and tournaments will be streamed live on The Big Screen during Backyard, featuring the most-watched international sporting events and games, including baseball, basketball, golf, Formula 1 races, hockey, football, soccer, rugby, tennis, horse racing, sailing, cricket, 2024 Olympics coverage, and more.

Upcoming special viewing parties include the Kentucky Derby airing on May 4th, the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Race on May 5th with a Cinco de Mayo party at Verano, and The Wells Fargo Championship PGA TOUR event airing from May 9th-12th.

This spring, family-friendly movies are premiering on The Big Screen on Saturday mornings from 10:30AM - 12PM on May 18th, May 25th, and June 1st.

In the fall, the highly-anticipated seasonal Movie Nights returns with screenings of fan-favorite blockbuster films beginning in mid-September. The full line-up of movies will be announced later this year.

Before the movies, stop by Dylan’s Candy Bar or Li-Lac Chocolates on Level 4 of The Shops at Hudson Yards to grab a treat.
