Deets: Portland, OR-based ice cream brand Salt & Straw (backed by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) is doing a rare New York City pop-up to offer New Yorkers limited-time FREE scoops of their new summer flavors.

Co-founder and Head Ice Cream Innovator Tyler Malek is hosting the pop-up event which will be open to the public at Blue Stripes Cacao Shop (28 E 13th Street) on Friday, June 9th from 4-7PM, offering New Yorkers free scoops of three new Salt & Straw flavors from their June Upcycled Series menu, as well as two signature classics, while supplies last.

The pop-up menu includes: Cacao Pulp & Chocolate Stracciatella Gelato, Lemon Curd & Whey, Salted Caramel & Okara Cupcakes (v), Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons and Honey Lavender.

Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is free and open to the public on Friday June 9 from 4-7PM.
