Deets: SKIMS announced the opening of its summer pop-up shop at historic Rockefeller Center, marking the brand’s first-ever retail activation in New York City, and its biggest yet. The brand continues to create one of a kind, viral shopping experiences for customers and SKIMS entrance into NYC will be yet another impactful moment for the brand.

The summer-themed pop-up will allow visitors to shop from the ultimate assortment of must-have SKIMS essentials for the season, including SKIMS Swim, Cotton Jersey T-Shirts, Cotton Fleece Sets, and Fits Everybody panty packs. Customers will also get to indulge in custom SKIMS sweet treats from iconic Morgenstern’s Ice Cream, further paying homage to NYC.

The spectacular and eye-catching, iris blue structure is an evolution of SKIMS’ classic pop-ups and features a large diving board water display, inspired by SKIMS Swim collection and the summer season. The brand worked closely with Willo Perron of Perron-Roettinger on the design, with whom SKIMS has a longstanding creative relationship.

This past Saturday, SKIMS formally announced the pop-up shop by releasing a video in partnership with the Radio City Rockettes, who welcomed the brand to New York with their iconic kickline in front of Radio CIty Music Hall while dressed in SKIMS’ best-selling Seamless Sculpt collection. The Rockettes, Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller Center are all iconic institutions that represent New York’s storied history. By engaging these legendary partners that are deeply rooted in New York’s DNA, SKIMS makes an impactful entrance into the city for their first retail activation in the area—there’s no better way to be welcomed to New York!
