Deets: Louis Vuitton and renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami have reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic collaboration, launching the Louis Vuitton x Murakami Re-edition collection. This collection revives the vibrant Monogram Multicolore and introduces new designs, featuring over 200 items including bags, accessories, footwear, and lifestyle goods.
To commemorate this re-edition, immersive pop-up events are being held in seven cities worldwide, including New York, Tokyo, Seoul, and Milan. These events feature a variety of experiential content, such as cafes, cinemas, photo booths, and specially designed trams adorned with Takashi Murakami’s iconic characters.
Visitors can explore four distinct zones:
Retail Space: Showcasing the latest Louis Vuitton x Murakami Chapter One collection, including exclusive items like the Superflat Panda Card Holder.
Hint for the Average Socialite: The New York pop-up is scheduled to run through the end of January. For the weekend of January 10-12 only, clients who make a purchase will be given access to the pop-up’s flower-themed cafe where they can enjoy a variety of complimentary drinks and pastries, all served with custom Louis Vuitton x Murakami cups and napkins.
