Deets: Put on your Wonderland-inspired outfits and get set to hit the dance floor with Alice and the Red Queen, when Wonderland Nights return to The New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) with a new set of DJ dance parties and delectable cocktails for purchase on four select evenings in September. 

Wonderland: Curious Nature, NYBG’s fantastical exhibition inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, comes to life at night on September 7, 14, 20, and 21, 2024, from 7 to 10 p.m., under the glow of the larger-than-life kinetic mushrooms Shrumen Lumen by FoldHaus Art Collective, which dazzled audiences at the Burning Man festival and around the world. Watch them change size at random, as if they’re breathing, as the sculptures’ colorful, moving LEDs beckon visitors to linger in this magical dreamscape amid artful topiaries with the iconic Enid A. Haupt Conservatory dome as a dramatic backdrop. A horticultural wonderland awaits visitors inside the Haupt Conservatory, where featured plants are seemingly plucked from the imagination.
