Deets: Open now through September, SHADES is a colorful new immersive installation that features sections of transparent color throughout the indoor and outdoor sky deck that invites guests to see New York City like never before, bathed in vivid hues. As most of the sky deck glass will remain clear, guests moving through SHADES can explore how changing their perspective dramatically affects their perception of the skyline.
SHADES at Edge will reinforce La Roche-Posay's 2024 sunscreen campaign that aims to make Every Day A Sunscreen Day. One in five Americans will develop skin cancer by the age of 70, making early detection and daily sun protection key. The campaign reinforces the brand’s ongoing dedication to raising awareness of sun-safe behaviors to help reduce the risk of skin cancer, the most common cancer in America.
Rising 1,131 feet in the air and extending out 65 feet from the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards, Edge features a spectacular outdoor viewing area with its breathtaking glass floor, angled glass walls, and outdoor skyline steps from the 100th to 101st floors.
Hint for the Average Socialite: Edge ticket holders will have access to this all-weather experience located at select points around the indoor and outdoor sky deck at no additional cost, starting July 15 and running through September.
