Deets: We are delighted to invite you to the third annual Summer for the City, with hundreds of events bringing together thousands of artists, in celebration of the multitude of stories that live within our city.
“Life, Liberty, and Happiness” is this year’s guiding curatorial theme, highlighting how active participation in the arts helps strengthen civic bonds and grow strong communities.
From June 12 - August 10, we invite you to celebrate your own voice and artistry, as you join with neighbors and new friends. Together with Visual Director Clint Ramos and Donyale Werle Design, our campus will blossom into a welcoming oasis where neighbors from across the city (and around the corner) can gather, relax, participate in performances, enjoy expanded food offerings, and even play outdoor games.
We know that the arts are core to our collective well-being, and helping realize our hopes and dreams for future generations. With several new commissions, and a wide variety of programming, we hope you will find something you love and maybe even discover something new.
Hint for the Average Socialite: All events are either Free or Choose-What-You-Pay, with tickets for select events going on sale Thursday, May 16 at noon. Learn more.
