Alstede Farms

Barton Orchards

Barton Orchards is a 175-acre apple orchard and vegetable farm located in Poughquag, New York, that has been in the Barton family for over 40 years. We are the premier Pick Your Own farm in the Hudson Valley, and the perfect place to build traditions year after year. Stop by the Ice Cream Stand to try our famous Apple Cider Donut Sundae, grab a bite to eat and visit the Farm Market. We also have a great selection of local craft beer, wine and cider at the Tap Room, with beautiful outdoor seating areas. You can visit the farm animals, dog park and playgrounds while you’re here.

Fishkill Farms

Each weekend through September and October (plus Sept. 26 & Oct. 10th) starting September 10th will be packed full of autumnal fun! Pick sustainably grown apples straight from the trees, enjoy wagon rides throughout the orchard, get lost in our corn maze for charity, listen to live music in our courtyard while sipping on a hard cider from the Treasury Cider Bar. There’s no shortage of delicious food from our grill like our traditional Jamaican Jerk Chicken and you can’t forget about our delicious apple cider donuts fresh from our donut window.

Holland Ridge Farms

Muscoot Farm

Muscoot Farm is a place where you can experience history, agriculture, and wildlife in a family-friendly atmosphere. Muscoot Farm was once a working dairy farm. Today it is a Westchester County park open to the public 362 days of the year. Admission to the park is free for families and individuals. Visitors may bring in food as well as visit our concession stand (open seasonally). A typical visit can last 1 to 2 hours, but can be made longer if you bring a lunch and are up for exploring the scenery out back!

Explore the hands-on fun in our discovery barn, little tots farm store and junior mechanics shop. Pick your own pumpkins and have fun at our Pumpkin Painting station. Twin Star Orchards, NY

Fall brings fresh apple cider, cider donuts and U-pick apple picking at Twin Star Orchards in Hudson Valley’s New Paltz, just 90 minutes away from NYC. Their philosophy – Ugly Apples Taste Better – puts aesthetics aside to focus on what’s truly important: the most flavor possible. During apple picking season, which runs now through early November, guests can pick different types of sustainably farmed apples. The McIntosh, Gala, Honey Crisp, Macoun and Cortland apples are ready for picking now. Coming soon will be Jonagold, Fuji, Red Delicious and Empire varieties. Apples are $14 for a half peck (about 5-6 lbs), $22 for a peck (10-12 lbs) and $38 for a half bushel (24 lbs). A tote bag with apples (15 lbs) is $35, a refill is $28. Admission to the orchards is free. Live music on Saturdays and Sundays.

Wilkins Fruit & Fir Farm

We sell a wide variety of Apples and Pumpkins and Peaches – all of which you can pick yourself. In addition to these “Pick-Your-Own” items, Wilkens Farm has several acres of Choose-n-Cut Christmas Trees. Also, while you’re here you might want to check out our three farm markets where we sell everything from our own pressed apple cider to freshly baked pies, famous apple cider donuts and gift items. Our harvest season starts in August with Peaches and beginning of September with Apples. Pick-your-own Pumpkins start in October, and Choose-n-Cut Christmas Trees just after Thanksgiving.
