Deets: Join Think!Chinatown (T!C) for the second year of our summer series of art and food at the iconic gateway of the Manhattan Bridge. This new open-air cultural festival features an art installation lightbox showcasing Chinatown-focused programming alongside local street food vendors. “Chinatown Nights” is presented in partnership with Neighborhoods Now and Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE).
In honor of APAHM Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Chinatown Night Market has invited CAPA Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans to showcase their 43rd Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Festival. As a long-standing tradition, Soh Daiko, the Japanese drumming ensemble, will open the festival with their exciting choreographed percussion performance.
Artisans of traditional folk art crafts like paper cutting art, sugar painting, and braided straw figures will demonstrate their artform which will be available for purchase.
Featured vendors include: Cambodia Now, Choy Commons, Momo Delight, Pho Master, Twisted Potato, Xiang Mini Cakes, and local Chinatown favorites, Kopitiam and Alimama…and more!
