Deets: Puppet shows. Dance performances. Crafting. In celebration of Holi, the traditional Indian festival of colors marking the start of spring, The Seaport will host special programming on Saturday, March 19 that is being presented by The Culture Tree. Kids will learn how to celebrate Holi by watching an amazing puppet show, watch some traditional Holi dance performance, learn to dance in an Indian dance workshop and make their own Holi inspired puppets.

Puppet Show: Colors of Krishna’s Love – A puppet show for kids that will teach them the lessons and history of Holi in an engaging setting.

12:30pm
Puppet Making Activity – After the show, kids will get an opportunity to make their own versions of the puppets they just watched perform in the show.

1:00pm
Indian Dance Performance and Workshop – Watch a group of Indian dancers showcase traditional Holi dances, and then teach the crowd their moves.
