Deets: Legendary rapper and actor Ice T received approval from New Jersey regulators to operate a cannabis dispensary in partnership with longtime friend and cannabis expert Charis B, the founder of the California cannabis brand The Medicine Woman.

Expected to open later this year, the new The Medicine Woman dispensary will consist of 5,000 square feet of retail space featuring limited edition merchandise and products from New Jersey’s most popular cannabis brands.

“We are proud to announce that The Medicine Woman will be opening a second location in Jersey City later this year. Ice-T and his business partner Charis Burrett have the green light to move forward with plans to open a 5,000 square foot Medicine Woman cannabis dispensary in Jersey City, which is just a few miles from downtown New York City.”
