Deets: Founders Entertainment is beyond thrilled to announce the lineup for the 10th Anniversary of The Governors Ball Music Festival, set to take place Friday, September 24th through Sunday, September 26th at the Citi Field complex in Queens. Working in close consultation with the City of New York, the festival will follow all state and federal guidelines mandated at the time of the event. The festival “with a New York heart” (New York Times), will mark the milestone with an incredible lineup of 60+ performing artists including Billie Eilish, Post Malone, A$AP ROCKY, J Balvin, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Ellie Goulding, Leon Bridges, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Portugal. The Man., Burna Boy, Future Islands, Phoebe Bridgers, Jamie XX, Carly Rae Jepsen, Big Thief, Bleachers, and many more.

Beyond multiple free water stations throughout the grounds, there will be plenty of options on hand for anyone looking to refresh with an ice cold drink or libation. Festival fans can enjoy nitro cold brew from Rise Brewing Co., or a fresh pressed offering from John’s Juice. Not to mention selections from BABE wine, Juneshine hard kombucha, Bud Light Seltzer, and beers including Bud Light, Bluepoint (featuring a Governors Ball 10th Anniversary brew), and an assortment of other craft beer options. The 2021 cocktail program will feature festive concoctions from BACARDÍ (bringing tropical vibes with the Gov Ball Punch), Tito’s Vodka (quenching thirst with Tito’s Sparkling Lemonade), Aperol Spritz (featuring their vibrant and bubbly namesake cocktail), Patrón (a timeless margarita on the rocks), and Jim Beam (keeping things classic with a Jim & Ginger Highball).
This year Governors Ball will also feature A Taste Of New York delivered by Grubhub. Hungry fans can skip the lines and order some of their favorite New York bites from the comfort of the Grubhub Refuel Station. They need only take a seat, scan their table’s unique QR code to open the Grubhub app, browse the list of participating vendors, and place their order. Then they can sit back, relax, and let Grubhub bring their order directly to them! Featuring something for everyone, A Taste of New York delivered by Grubhub will include Milk & Cream Bar, Arancini Bros, Lobster Joint, Friterie, Taqueria Diana, and Matcha Bar, with additional delivery service from John’s Juice and Roberta’s.

Governors Ball has also announced COVID-19 health policy for the 2021 event. Safety is always the number one priority at Governors Ball, and as such, a full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result will be required to attend the festival. For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of each day they attend the event.
