Deets: Saved by the Max, the traveling pop-up phenomenon inspired by the iconic campus hangout in the popular Saved by the Bell TV series, will introduce a brand new socially distanced carryout experience this month. In honor of National Saved by the Bell Day 2020 (honoring the airing of the show’s very first episode) fans in three cities (Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles) can bring Bayside High safely into their homes from August 20th until August 25th. Yes, you heard that correctly, Preppy.
Die-hards and first timers alike can expect a twist on the Saved by the Max team’s classic pop up model, one that celebrates the enduring legacy of the show while maintaining the safety of all its fans. Celebrate a homecoming for the team’s original two cities (Chicago and Los Angeles) in addition to bringing New York their very first taste of The Max. In accordance with all restaurant safety guidelines, the socially distanced pop-up will give fans the opportunity to safely immerse themselves into the hallways of Bayside High.
All guests will be required to pre-order (starting Friday August 14th at 10:00 AM PST) a “Bayside Preppy Pack” which includes their choice of one Bayside Burger (beyond meat version also available) plus a side of Home of the Tigers Tater Totz, and an exclusive Class of 2020 gift. Add-on’s will include choice of Spano Sides (Friends Forever Side Salad with ginger dressing or Kapowski Fries with option to add cheese) and Snack Attack Deserts (Zack’s Sweet Talking Cookies, Max’s Magical Gooey Brownie). Final menu items to vary per city by availability.
Don’t miss exclusive pre-order “At Home Detention” carry out kits including a DIY Screech’s Secret Spaghetti Sauce and the I’m So Excited Coffee experience. No to-go experience would be complete without The Attic’s 21+ Beverage Menu including Mr. Dewey's Build It At Home Cocktail Kit, See Ya Slater To Go Cocktail Pouch, and the signature Lisa Turtle (mango tonic with a kiwi twist; available with or without alcohol). Cans of Beer, six packs of beer, and bottles of red/white wine each along with assorted sodas and bottles of water. The party continues at home with the entirety of Saved by the BellTM available to stream on NBCUniversal’s Peacock in anticipation of the show’s upcoming reboot.
All pre-purchased experiences will be available for delivery (exclusively through Tock) or pick-up in Chicago (Dorians: 1939 North Ave), New York (Planet Hollywood: 1540 Broadway) and Los Angeles (Former Saved by The Max space: 7100 Santa Monica Blvd.) Each carryout includes a set pick-up time window, staggered guest arrival times, social-distancing enforcement, and proper space sanitization between every guest time window. All staff will be required to wear facial coverings, along with the installation of barriers in instances where customers and workers can’t observe the six-foot rule.
