Deets: Celebrated Head Baker and Partner of High Street on Hudson, Melissa Weller (who hails from a world-class baking pedigree that includes Sadelle’s, Per Se and Roberta’s), will whipping up a suite of V-Day-appropriate baked goods, including a show stopping peppercorn and raspberry kouign amann (pink peppercorn sugar, filled with raspberry jam) and heart-shaped linzer cookies filled with passionfruit curd..
On the savory side, High Street will be offering a six-course prix fixe menu ($65) alongside a limited a la carte menu, including:
1st course: Oysters and Champagne
2nd course: Endive and Burrata
3rd course: Pasta Course (choose from four)
4th course: Second Pasta Course (choose from four)
5th course: Lamb Shank for two OR Whole Fried Fish for two
6th course: Rosè Champagne and Grapefruit Granita
The pasta options, highlighting High Street’s renowned bread and grain program, include:
1. Gnocchi with mushrooms (existing on current menu)
2. Squid Spaccatelli (existing on current menu)
3. Pici with peekey toe crab, uni butter, old bay, sorrel
4. Passatelli “Spaetzle” with fennel sausage and bitter greens
