Deets: The Solving Kids’ Cancer Spring Celebration will celebrate the renewal of spring and children everywhere. The annual benefit is Solving Kids’ Cancer (SKC) largest fundraiser of the year. Last year the gala successfully raised more than $700,000, with the generosity of supporters. Since SKC was founded in 2007, the organization has funded and managed 34 scientific projects specifically targeted at developing new treatment options for kids with pediatric cancers.
Actor Noah Schnapp best known for portraying Will Byers in the Netflix series Stranger Things will present the evening’s Gold Star Awards to SKC’s 12 young cancer fighters. The evening will feature performances by Madison Elizabeth Legares who has appeared on Broadway in School of Rock and as Little Gloria Estefan in On Your Feet. Gus Ross & Luke Eisner of Los Angeles based pop/rock band Voilá will make a special performance.
