Deets: The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (The NYSPCC) will hold its annual Spring Luncheon on April 11 at The Pierre Hotel in New York City. Board Members and event chairs Elizabeth Mayhew and Valesca Guerrand-Hermès, along with Vicky Cornell, widow of music legend Chris Cornell and NYSPCC’s Children’s Council member, will host honored guest speaker Tara Westover, best-selling author of the memoir “Educated”. MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle will interview Westover. The event will benefit The NYSPCC’s Trauma Recovery and Safe Touches programs.
