An Evening for St. Jude took place on March 2nd at the Bowery Hotel in New York City. The Gold Gala Committee is thrilled to announce a record-breaking milestone, raising over $1,000,000 for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since event-inception.
The Gold Gala is a formal event where New York’s leading young philanthropists join together for an evening of generosity to celebrate and honor the lifesaving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Hosted by Kevin Davenport and Annabelle Devlin, the black-tie affair has been deemed one of St. Jude’s leading young professional events nationwide and has increased its annual fundraising goals year-after-year.
This year, over $170,000 was raised at the Eighth Annual Gala. Guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dancing along with an exceptional silent auction and raffle. Men or Myth returned for the fourth year to entertain the crowd with live music alongside DJ Nikolas James. Amali, Calissa, and Gemma generously joined us this year as our headline food sponsors.

We’re elated and humbled to see the Gala grow each year and inspire young professionals to join St. Jude’s mission of bringing a brighter future to innocent children.”
The Committee would like to extend a special thanks to the event’s contributors and corporate sponsors – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Gabrielli Truck Sales, Metro Interiors, and Ship App – that help grow The Gold Gala’s commitment to St. Jude year after year. Balcones Distilling, Partida Tequila, Brugal Rum, and Harpoon Brewery generously donated as well, and Julia Testa created beautiful floral arrangements and instillations for the venue. Over the past 50 years, St. Jude has pushed the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 to 80 percent and will not stop until no child dies from cancer. The hospital is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade. St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs they make, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save more children. Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
