Deets: the Environmental Media Association (EMA) announced select speakers and panelists for its 9th annual EMA IMPACT Summit, taking place on May 8 – 9 at the Pendry West Hollywood. The two-day sustainability event brings together influential leaders and innovators across industries and generations to explore impactful environmental solutions. This year’s summit will spotlight a range of timely topics, including reflection and rebuilding efforts in the wake of the Los Angeles fires, driving social change through social media and science, and other critical issues shaping our communities today.
Following last year’s standout summit featuring Secretary Hilary Rodham Clinton, Shailene Woodley, Rainn Wilson, and more, the EMA IMPACT Summit returns as a dynamic forum for creatives, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. With voices spanning entertainment, health, food, tech, and art, the summit ignites fresh ideas and bold possibilities for a sustainable future.
The event will open with a powerful series of panels honoring the resilience of those impacted by the Los Angeles fires, exploring legal accountability, community-driven recovery, and the path forward. Prominent local voices and organizations, including the MOCA Museum and Getty Images will join forces with leading activists to share stories, spark dialogue, and inspire action. Additional panels will cover the effect of Climate on our health, the nonpartisan power of nature, blockchain for a carbon efficient digital economy and ways to invite the next generation to seek science amid an era of misinformation. EMA IMPACT Summit is designed to inform, entertain, and inspire action, empowering all to fuel progress through community and meaningful change.
The Naked Lunch podcast is back for a live taping. After last year’s unforgettable chat with Ted Danson, Phil Rosenthal and David Wild are back—and gearing up for another lively, unfiltered conversation you won’t want to miss. This year Phil and David will welcome actor and comedian Kevin Nealon.
