Deets: Celebrating more than three decades as one of the Washington, D.C. area's most widely recognized and revered charity events, the Leukemia Ball is scheduled for Saturday, June 18, 2022. Taking place at the Marriott Marquis Washington D.C., this event is dedicated to raising money for life-saving cancer research and patient programs funded by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Since the first Leukemia Ball in 1987, the event has raised more than $68 million toward the LLS mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. As a testament to everything LLS has accomplished with its supporters, the theme for our 2022 Leukemia Ball is Legacy.

The event begins with a General Reception at 6:30pm, followed by Awards, Live Auction, and Dinner. Shortly after 9:00pm is our Mission Moment, Fund the Fight, Comedic Entertainment, and Musical Entertainment. The event concludes by 12:00am.

Hint for the Average Socialite: To protect the safety of guests and our industry, all guests, sponsors, and individuals (age 12+) working or attending the event are required to show proof that they have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (5) days prior to the event. Patrons also have the option to show proof of a negative COVID test taken within 24 hours of the event. Information on steps around this verification will be communicated to guests closer to the date of event. Masking will be optional to all guests, but encouraged, especially for those immunocompromised.
