Deets: This year’s Oktoberfest BBQ at Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown takes place on Wednesdays in October beginning on the fifth through the 26th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm in the Courtyard Bar.

The courtyard’s German Biergarten features a live grilling station and Samuel Adams draft beer.  Don your favorite lederhosen and dirndls or, just come as you are.

Executive Chef Jordi Gallardo and Executive Sous Chef Jason Rowley are firing up the grill to prepare Bauernwurst, a locally handcrafted German Sausage, and Weisswurst, a traditional Bavarian sausage served with warm Bavarian Potato Salad.  Smoked Pork Loin and Smoked Boneless Chicken Thighs will also be available with Sauerkraut, Cucumber Corn Salad, Pretzel Twists and Pretzel Buns. A selection of traditional sweet and spicy mustards are prefect accompaniments. Save room for traditional German Apple Strudel.

Hint for the Average Socialite: Oktoberfest is $25 per person and $12 for children up to 12 years of age. Samuel Adams Drafts are $9 each.
