Deets: The Trust for the National Mall is thrilled to share that our signature BALL for THE MALL is back! For the first time since 2019, the fall BALL for THE MALL will take place on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the new Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Old Post Office Clock Tower overlooking the National Mall with 400+ guests for a monumental evening featuring the Trust for the National Mall History, Heroes, and Hope Awards.

The Trust is also excited to share that planning is underway for the Trust for the National Mall's BALL for THE MALL on Thursday, May 11, 2023, returning to the National Mall. Stay tuned for exciting announcements and details for 2023.

Hint for the Average Socialite: The October 4 fall BALL for THE MALL at the Waldorf Astoria will include: 

• 5:30 PM | Special Reception for key partners and top supporters

• Guided tours to the top of the Old Post Office Clock Tower to experience a unique view of the National Mall

• 6:30 PM | Welcome Reception for all guests

• 7:30 PM | Speaking program featuring CNN Anchor Abby Phillip and David M. Rubenstein and a celebration of our 2022 History, Heroes & Hope Awards – awardee names to be announced soon!

• A unique curated dining experience, dessert and champagne reception
