Deets: A much cherished annual tradition since 1972, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest®” is the most popular way for viewers to ring in the New Year, both in the US and worldwide. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the show is a New Year’s staple with live performances in New York along with the iconic Times Square ball drop.
Organizers of the New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square provided a preliminary teaser of how the event will change in response to the changes and challenges of 2020: a virtually enhanced celebration that brings Times Square and The Ball to you digitally no matter where you are, scaled-back and socially distanced live elements still to be determined, and an extremely limited group of in-person honorees, socially distanced, who will reflect the themes, challenges and inspirations of 2020.
Performances by Post Malone, BTS, Sam Hunt, Alanis Morissette & more!
Hint for the Average Socialite: There will be no public audience this year. Watch it on ABC at 8PM; New Year's Eve with Steve Harvey on Fox at 11PM; New Year's Eve with Carson Daly on NBC at 11:30PM and New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on CNN at 8PM.
