Deets: Join us for ART& 2025, a week of inquiry and inspiration, blending creativity with activism, reshaping cultural spaces, and prioritizing community impact. Art Week at NeueHouse is celebrating feminine leadership in arts and culture, fostering collective healing through empathy, collaboration, and inclusive narratives.
Taking place from Tuesday, February 18 through Friday, February 21 at NeueHouse Venice Beach, this inspiring four-day long series will highlight work that sparks renewal, creating ripples that extend far beyond the canvas or stage.
“NeueHouse has always intended to be a gathering place for creativity,” says Martine Bury, VP of Brand Experience and Partnerships for NeueHouse. “ART& 2025 furthers this mission by providing a space for critical conversations and bold ideas that shape our cultural landscape.”
Programming highlights include:

These groundbreaking artists will share transformative wisdom about leveraging artistic vision as a dynamic tool for environmental consciousness, social progress, and collective empowerment.
Thursday 2/20 at 8:00 PM - ART& CHANGEMAKERS: Celebrating Visionary Women in Collaboration with Financial Times
An intimate gathering of 60 extraordinary women leaders transforming the art world—gallerists, artists, activists, advocates, and cultural healers—who are redefining creative discourse. The evening, presented by LAELIA Tequila, features a special performance by poet and author Yrsa Daley-Ward, exploring themes of feminine power, creativity, and collective healing. Through curated conversations, healing botanical experiences, and collective vision-setting, we honor the profound impact of feminine leadership in shaping cultural narratives and driving social change.
Friday 2/21 at 10:00 AM - ART& REGENERATION Brunch: Paradigms of Artistry, Community Building & Healing
Celebrates the leadership of women in the arts, redefining the female gaze across film, photography, and visual culture. Featuring artists, activists, and cultural leaders—including Nao Bustamante, Patrisse Cullors, and Rugiyatou Ylva Jallow—the conversation explores artistry as a catalyst for healing, resilience, and community building amid social and environmental upheaval. Jallow, a Swedish-Gambian visual artist, brings her perspective on identity, belonging, and cultural hybridity, using bold self-portraits and intricate threadwork to examine connection and equality. Meanwhile, Bustamante and Cullors will revisit themes from a pivotal 2018 discussion at Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles, reflecting on the evolving role of the arts in civic life post-election and the responsibilities of artists in shaping sustainable futures. Rooted in regeneration, this brunch is a space for connection, reflection, and vision-building.
Friday 2/21 at 6:30 PM - ART& THE NEW GARDE
“ROOTS AND REALMS,” a solo exhibition featuring Rugiyatou Ylva Jallow, a Swedish-Gambian artist born in Stockholm and currently based in Los Angeles. Jallow's powerful paintings explore identity, cultural belonging, and personal narrative through bold self-portraits that integrate acrylic, oil paint, and intricate thread work. Her art delves into the complexities of mixed-race experience, using vibrant colors and symbolic imagery to represent ancestral connections and the nuanced landscapes of cultural identity. Featuring: Rugiyatou Ylva Jallow — "Roots and Realms" Curated by: Mashonda Tifrere, Founder of ArtLeadHer
