Deets: Meta is opening its first-ever Ray-Ban Meta glasses retail space, Meta Lab, in Los Angeles!
Just in time for the holiday shopping season, the pop-up will offer an immersive, hands-on environment with interactive demos of Ray-Ban Meta glasses – one of Oprah’s Favorite Things of 2024. Check out the latest features along with a custom immersive installation using mirrors and LEDs to create a unique setting for photos.
The 8,000 square-foot store on Melrose Avenue will embrace local Southern California car and lowrider culture, with installations from local artists and live community workshops on cultural identity, technology, and storytelling. A limited number of the custom Sidecar Doughnut flavor – inspired by LA photographer Estevan Oriol’s ‘Blue Velvet’ lowrider – will be available in-store daily.
After choosing their Ray-Ban Meta glasses from the wide selection of colors, frames and lenses, shoppers can design their own glasses case with a variety of laser engraving customization options.
Hint for the Average Socialite: This event is open to the public.
The space is open to the public Monday to Sunday (10am-7pm) from November 8 through December 31, excluding holidays.
