Deets: Chef Najat Kaanache will be at The Aster Rooftop for the June edition of ‘Food as Art’ series! An immersive pop-up culinary experience led by Moroccan guest Chef Najat Kaanache, guests will embark on a journey to Morocco with plates inspired by her travels, offering a bold spirit, vibrant plating, and standout flavors. 

A pioneer of the culinary world and host of AMC Network’s top-rated cooking series Cocina Marroqui, Chef Najat has worked in 3-star Michelin restaurants and with several globally recognized restaurants including Nur Restaurant and Nacho Mama in Morocco, Cús in Mexico, and most recently Ziryab in Spain. Her colorful cuisine tells a passionate story about her curiosity for food and culture—her leading techniques, ingredients and presentation all reflect her desire to change the world, and unite communities through food. 

This month’s Food as Art series will include a five course dinner crafted with noble, seasonal ingredients and special interactive opportunities, alongside a selection of menu-inspired wine and cocktail options.
