Deets: Poet, author, and literary organizer Mahogany L. Browne visits PEN America Los Angeles to share new poems exploring the experience of Black womanhood in America. Join Browne and award-winning poet Alyesha Wise for a not-to-be-missed reading, conversation, and Q&A celebrating Browne’s exquisite new collection Chrome Valley and her trailblazing path as a performance poet, curator, and community builder carving out new spaces for poetry, social justice, and the next generation of change-makers. 

This in-person program will be co-presented by Reparations Club and is made possible in part by the support of the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture.
