Deets: Lupus LA’s “Stories Under The Stars” event will honor Daniel J. Wallace, MD with the Ellis Community Leadership Award. An unforgettable night of stories, dinner, drinks, and dancing for a purpose. Every life touched by lupus reveals a unique and important story. Lupus LA brings these powerful stories to the forefront of lupus awareness in order to shine a light on this invisible illness. Funds raised will support Lupus LA and their mission to find the causes of and a cure for lupus while providing support, services, and hope to all people affected by lupus.

Who You May Spot: Honoree Daniel J. Wallace, M.D. (Ellis Community Leadership Award recipient), Lupus LA Chairman of the Board Adam Selkowitz, and event co-chairs Maurissa Tancharoen Whedon and Jed Whedon (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. writers, creators, showrunners) and Lauren Shuler Donner (producer, Lethal Weapon 5, the Deadpool and X-Men franchises).

Additional guests include Paula Abdul (Lupus LA Ambassador; presenting award to Daniel J. Wallace, M.D.), Scott Porter (“Ginny & Georgia”, “Friday Night Lights”), Katie Lowes (“Inventing Anna”, “Scandal”), Adam Shapiro (“Never Have I Ever”, She Said), Tina Sinatra (businesswoman, youngest daughter of Frank Sinatra), Felicia Day (actor, gamer, streamer), Abby Mooring (actress, model) and more.
