Deets: To celebrate the upcoming premiere of the new Andy Samberg-led adult animated adventure comedy series, DIGMAN! Comedy Central will bring Samberg’s character, Rip Digman's, animated world of archeologists to life with an interactive pop-up experience at a real-world, active dig site: The La Brea Tar Pits. In addition to being an iconic LA landmark, the Tar Pits has the distinction of being the only ongoing, urban Ice Age excavation in the world; making it the perfect backdrop for a show set in a world where archaeologists are all "bad-ass, adventure-seeking rock stars."

DIGMAN! will take over the main exterior entry of the La Brea Tar Pits Museum with large-scale recreations of the show's core cast of characters. The free limited-time activation allows visitors to dig into the world of DIGMAN! and interact with the characters through a custom AR experience.

In support of their groundbreaking research, Comedy Central has joined The Tar Pits Corporate Membership program which helps fund the education, special programs and exhibitions that further their mission.

Hint for the Average Socialite: Stop by for free! Accompanying the pop-up, a DIGMAN! customized truck will be parked outside the Tar Pits entrance, located at the intersection of Wilshire and S. Curson, where passers-by can cop free limited-batch Digman! swag.

DIGMAN!, the series, premieres Wednesday, March 22nd at 10:30pm ET/PT.
