Deets: Gold Meets Golden will get PUMPED UP in more ways than one for its 10th Anniversary Year Event, and prove that RECORDS are meant to be both Broken AND Played. Hollywood has long been inspired by the Sports industry and vice versa, but rarely do these two worlds have the chance to mix and mingle. Los Angeles will once again welcome some of the greatest athletes from across the world to celebrate during the yearโs most Musical Weekend. As the new โFor the Recordโ theme, legendary current and former record-breaking athletes will have the chance to meet many of the recording artists who have graced their own training playlists.
Gold Meets Golden annually benefits Angel City Sports, an LA-based adaptive sports organization that provides access to needed equipment, coaching and training for aspiring young Paralympic hopefuls, and produces a yearly competition for athletes with physical disabilities, the Angel City Games. With the recent announcement of the Olympics triumphant return to Los Angeles in 2028, Hollywood has been handed a fresh dose of Olympic Fever, and several of the Angel City Sports athletes will be competing in these games in 5 years.
This yearโs Gold Meets Golden stage will feature a special surprise musical performance. A second special performance will feature the Aqualillies Synchronized Swimming troop, who will honor the disabled and para-athlete community with an inspiring routine and surprise guest.
Hint For The Average Socialite: This event is strictly invite only.
