Deets: Cinespia, LA’s favorite cinematic experience presented by Amazon Studios, today announced their 4th of July weekend lineup that, for the first time, will feature three nights of firework spectaculars under the stars to accompany screenings of The Fast and the Furious (7/2), Purple Rain (7/3), and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (7/4).
Cinespia DJs keep the block party going all weekend. Enjoy delicious burgers and sizzling hot dogs from our grill, along with ice cold beer and a curated wine list from our bar. For the sweets, the concession stand has all the classics. Stop by the free Photobooth to take the picnic party home with you.
Saturday, July 2nd - The Fast and the Furious at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The 4th of July celebration keeps rollin' rollin' rollin' (what?) with hot rods, hard bods, and full-throttle thrills. Undercover cop Paul Walker speed races to infiltrate the car culture wars. Starring a roll call of the fast and the fearless: Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster. No need for NOS. Our epic fireworks show will bring the heat from the streets sky high. Grub all you want at our burger and hot dog grill. Knock back a few from our beer and wine bar, or bring your own picnic of choice. DJ sets before and after the film keep the road rave ragin’ through the night. Step into the limelight of our Free Photobooth with your best 2000s fashions: Von Dutch, car culture couture, and layered tanks all welcomed.

Dearly beloved, gather together to celebrate musical genius. See the randy rise and dove cries when musician the Kid aims sky-high with his ambitions. Go behind the music and into the mind of the brilliant genre-bending legend, with all the sultry, hip swaying chemistry between Prince and Apollonia. With Prince on the big screen, the revolution is imminent. Fireworks will make you tremble inside with sparkle and shimmer fit for music royalty. What began with a screening of Strangers on a Train for a few hundred people has become a Los Angeles institution, hosting hundreds of thousands of moviegoers on the famed Fairbanks Lawn. Now the most popular outdoor cinema event in Southern California, Cinespia is celebrated by fans and filmmakers for hosting a relaxed, off-beat experience. Welcoming up to 4,000 moviegoers per night, guests are invited to bring their own blankets, food, and drinks (including beer and wine), before settling in under the stars for a classic (and sometimes campy) cinematic experience.
