Deets: In celebration of Season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Prime Video is bringing the spirit of Maisel’s New York City to Los Angeles, with a two-day activation dubbed “Making LA Marvelous.” The exhibition, slated for Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, will transport fans to the world of the acclaimed series featuring sets inspired by the fourth season of the series.
“Making LA Marvelous” will bring New York City to Melrose Avenue as fans can enjoy interactive elements from season four including mahjong tables, a roving magician, a Coney Island photo opp, and some of New York’s favorite food and beverages.
Upon arrival visitors can step into Susie Myerson’s office, inspired by the set designed by acclaimed production designer Bill Groom. Fans will delight in the details, from Susie’s business cards and desk plaque to a working typewriter.
Authentic Manhattan noshes will be available from New York’s very own Russ & Daughters. The iconic Lower East Side shop will beMaisel-themed and will transport guests back in time. Guests can walk up to a recreated deli counter featuring classic Jewish appetizings against the vintage backdrop recreating the original Russ & Daughters outpost.
“Making LA Marvelous” also features New York’s Blue Note Jazz Club where for two days only, the Blue Note will turn back the clock to 1960 with jazz performances for guests to enjoy every hour.
Hint for the Average Socialite: Admission is FREE. Proof of full vaccination OR negative test within 48 hours is required to attend. Please be prepared to show your card, or photo of your card, at check-in. Masks will be required at all times, unless eating or drinking. Guests who are feeling unwell or believe they have been exposed to COVID-19 may not attend the event.
