Deets: The Salvation Army California South Division’s annual Sally Awards is returning via its gala charity event. For over 50 years, the Sally Awards has drawn dignitaries in philanthropy, city leadership, sports, entertainment, and culture.

The Sally Awards annually raise money for The Salvation Army’s programs addressing homelessness, hunger, and assistance for at-risk youth and military veterans. Past honorees include Lakers Owner Jeanie Buss, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and former President Ronald Reagan.

Who You May Spot: There will be a red carpet photo/video opportunity. Appearing on the red carpet will be Los Angeles Rams Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff, Sally Award honoree and philanthropist Priscilla Hunt, Turner Classic Movies co-host and TV personality Ben Mankiewicz, “Martin” actress/producer Tisha Campbell, legendary car designer Henrik Fisker, and the Vince Lombardi Trophy – the fan favorite statuette that goes to each year’s Super Bowl champion. Presenters at the awards show following the red carpet include NBC4 sports anchor Fred Roggin and former NBC4 weather anchor Fritz Coleman. Master of ceremonies for the Sally Awards is Ben Mankiewicz.
