Deets: Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles awaits an oasis for Angelenos and tourists to rejuvenate, revive, and reflect. Beginning on September 10th Hulu will welcome guests to a free immersive event promoting their original series “Nine Perfect Strangers,” at the Atrium in Westfield Century City Mall. From Sept. 10th through the 12th during the hours of 12pm to 7pm, guests will have the opportunity to experience moments of tranquility, wellness, and mindfulness on their own paths to self-discovery.
Inspired by the show’s Tranquillum grounds, the activities are bordered with lush green hedges and filled by the calm chaos of palms fronds and bespoke wooden installations. This stress-free zone will allow guests to relax by enjoying a refreshing smoothie pop while participating in soothing self-care activities from personalized astrology readings and crystal healing to giveaways from online boutique, Smudge Wellness.
The Nine Perfect Strangers Wellness Pop-up will also include three key wellness activations that will allow guests to focus on both their inner and outer selves and bring those two halves into an aligned whole:
An aura reading will offer guests a memorable glimpse into the greater mysteries around them and, finally, guests can take it all in from central seating dotted around the focal and architectural Dome.
A specialist will promote healing designed to remind guests to stay aligned in their bodies each day through proper posture that supports the human physiology and biomechanics to work in harmony, optimizing the body’s functioning in order to properly cope with stress and tension.
The next step on the path to healing boasts a relaxing scenery of cascading greenery and floral fixtures to immerse guests in an environment where they can set an intention to fill their future with a purpose. Here guests will write intentions down to help manifest their desires and ambitions.
Each guest will be provided with a digital astrology reading personalized for their sign from Cole Prots, resident astrologer at Smudge Wellness, giving an overview of the month ahead, key takeaways of what the cosmos has in store for them, and how to apply this guidance in their daily lives.
Lastly, guests will be allowed to reflect in a multi-mirrored moment inspired by the Title Treatment of Nine Perfect Strangers, where they will practice an activity to help anchor themselves with gratitude.
Throughout the weekend, fans of the show can enjoy a reference to the show’s iconic dome, participate in giveaways from Smudge Wellness and enjoy moments made to be captured on social media - wondering if they’ve confused Century City for a relaxing retreat. Celebrated in safety with Covid-19 safe protocols, this outdoor event brings lush greenery and much-needed serenity to the center of the city.
Based on The New York Times bestselling book by author Liane Moriarty, “Nine Perfect Strangers” takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort, Tranquillum House, that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them. “Nine Perfect Strangers” is now available to stream on Hulu, with new episodes every Wednesday.
