About Borobabi
Founded in 2020 by mom and former chemical engineer Carolyn Butler, Borobabi is a circular clothing startup. Through Borobabi, customers can subscribe for stylist curated bundles and shop new and resale from dozens of sustainable and ethically produced children’s clothing brands. Offering a unique borrow or buy model, parents can return or resell clothing items to Borobabi when their children outgrow them. Once the items are outworn, Borobabi recycles and composts them. Borobabi’s mission is to save money, reduce landfills and increase the efficiency of the entire children’s clothing supply chain. Borobabi was featured in the 2021 release of Circular Economy for Dummies.
