Deets: For more than 60 years, Women’s Guild has supported world-class healthcare through research and innovation. Women’s Guild members have raised nearly $60 million in support of Cedars-Sinai’s most critical work, including our current project, the Women’s Guild Neurology Project led by Nancy L.Sicotte, MD, the Women’s Guild Distinguished Chair in Neurology, which supports leading-edge research and education for the understanding and treatment of complex neurological disorders, including stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), dementias, epilepsy and migraines. Past Women’s Guild projects include, the Women’s Guild Chair in Gastroenterology, Women’s Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills, Women’s Guild Lung Institute, and the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center–A Project of Women’s Guild at Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.
Emmy Award winning actor, producer, and director Danny DeVito will be honored with the Hollywood Icon Award at the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai annual red-carpet gala. Bob Saget, actor, comedian, writer, producer, star of Fuller House and Full House will host, and Pia Toscano, award-winning singer and American Idol finalist will perform. The outdoor gala will include the Women’s Guild signature live auction with powerhouse auctioneer Mellisa Nielsen.
All safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) will be followed.
Spotted: Danny DeVito (Hollywood Icon Award Honoree), Barbara Herman (Humanitarian Award Honoree), Bob Saget (Host), Pia Toscano (Performer), Shelley Cooper (Women’s Guild President), and other prominent guests will attend the annual Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai gala, Party on the Piazza! Approximately 300 guests will gather on the 3rdfloor terrace of The Maybourne Beverly Hills hotel to support Women’s Guild and Cedars-Sinai. Gina Furth, Wendy Goldberg and Lorette Gross will chair the gala whileDebbie Laub, Atoosa Nehorai, and Tania Tavangarian will co-chair the gala that will benefit the Women’s Guild Neurology Project.
