Deets: On March 30, 2020, LA Chef Conference returns to Los Angeles with a full day of programming featuring some of the culinary industry’s most prominent names engaging in topical panel discussions, cooking demonstrations, unprecedented pop-ups from sought-after restaurant concepts and chefs, and a big after party—all included in the price of admission ($190). LA Chef Conference is a production of Brad Metzger Restaurant Solutions—a Southern California-based hospitality recruitment and placement firm—in partnership with the James Beard Foundation and Food & Wine magazine. The unparalleled gathering is intended to be a forum for the best and brightest minds in the restaurant industry to connect as a community, convene on timely topics, share important industry knowledge and glean inspiration from one another, and revel in Los Angeles’ trendsetting restaurant scene.

Also new and noteworthy this year is the debut of the LA Chef Conference James Beard Foundation Culinary Scholarship. 15% of ticket sales from the event will fund the scholarship which will support an LA-area C-CAP (Careers Through Culinary Arts) student to pursue their culinary education.
LA Chef Conference events are held at ArcLight Cinema and The Gourmandise School, situated on the third floor of Santa Monica Place in Santa Monica, CA. The day-long event commences at 9 a.m. with registration, coffee, and pastries, as well as the breaking down of the swordfish, and wraps at 5 p.m., followed by an after party from 5-9 p.m. at 1212, an expansive restaurant space on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade. Tickets are priced at $190 per person and include access to panel discussions; cooking demos; meals including breakfast, lunch, and after party; as well as the documentary screening.
