Deets: Concern Foundation will host their annual fundraising block party, showcasing multiple stages of live entertainment, casino style games, live and silent auctions, and food, desserts and beverages from over 70 of Los Angeles’ best restaurants and caterers like Vibrato Grill Jazz, Ocean Prime, The Grill on the Alley, Fogo de Chao, Atmosphere Restaurant, Outdoor Grill, Gyu-Kaku, The Urban Oven, Oak Smoke BBQ, STK, and Pink’s Famous Hot Dogs to name a few. 

Since its inception in 1968, CONCERN Foundation, which is dedicated to raising and granting funds to support cancer research worldwide, has broken local ground in many ways:  pioneering support of cancer research (specifically in funding young scientists); using the force of celebrity to raise funds; encouraging restaurants and then caterers to share center stage with celebrities to raise money; and pioneering the “block party” fundraiser concept.  This non-profit organization’s fundraising milestones also chronicle a rich era in the entertainment-oriented social history of Los Angeles.

The event is expected to have 4,000 guests with a goal to exceed last year’s $1.8 million dollars raised for cancer research.

Who You May Spot: This year, in honor of their lifetime of contribution and efforts in support of the Concern Foundation, Judy Carroll, Lexy & John Carroll & the Carroll Family will be given the Lifetime of Giving Award.
