Deets: Join the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) for our popular evening program series. This month, celebrate the opening of Samantha Box: Confluences, a new exhibition featuring the artist’s powerful photographs exploring race, gender, class and sexuality. Be the first to see the exhibition and attend an exhibition tour led by the artist and a NMWA curator. Learn tips and tricks to take your own photography to the next level. 

Admission includes two drink tickets (mocktails available) and access to the museum’s collection and special exhibitions, including Confluences; Suchitra Mattai: Myth from Matter, in which the multidisciplinary artist explores themes of identity, history and belonging in richly colored textiles; and In Focus: Artists at Work, a close-up glimpse into the practices and perspectives of four contemporary collection artists via short documentary-style videos.

Hint for the Average Socialite: Registration is required: $25 general; $22 students, seniors and D.C. residents; $20 members. Includes two drink tickets; additional beverages and food for purchase. . Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on November 6.
