Deets: Join The Silva Gallery x Latela Curatorial for an evening of drinks, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and an intimate look at Invocations, featuring work by artists Kate Fitzpatrick, Rose Jaffe, Jackie Milad, Kate Sable, Lee Nowell-Wilson, and Nastassja Swift. The launch event marks Latela Curatorial’s second annual Women in the Arts exhibition series and the continuation of its campaign to elevate women artists. Invocations is the first of six Women in the Arts exhibitions opening in Washington, D.C. this fall.
The Silva Gallery x Latela Curatorial is the latest addition to the Adams Morgan art scene after it premiered its first exhibit, Moments of Grace, in September 2021. Located in The Silva, a brand new, modern 172-unit apartment building, the gallery is one of the building’s many thoughtful amenities and is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to explore the building and its stunning two-bedroom model unit to experience life at The Silva firsthand.
Hint for the Average Socialite: Guests can purchase a single $25 ticket or two tickets for $40 at the link below. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required. No formal dress code is required.
