Deets:  Chance for Life and restaurant partner Chicken + Whiskey co-host a “Poker Run” to close out Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Restaurants along the 14th Street/U Street Corridors will host bar game competitions (e.g. quarters, darts, card throwing, etc.) at each location. Guests must complete each challenge to earn a playing card, forming a poker hand. Once all five playing cards have been collected, participants will return to Chicken + Whiskey for a closing party to submit their poker hands. The guests with the top three poker hands win.

All participating restaurant locations will offer drink specials during the event with % of bar proceeds benefiting Chance for Life. For additional prizes, guests are invited to enjoy a ticket raffle at Chicken + Whiskey with multitude of prizes. 100% of all ticket and raffle proceeds benefit Chance for Life.

What is a POKER RUN? A poker run is an event in which participants must visit five designated locations and complete five friendly challenges in order to receive five playing cards. The object of the game is to form the best poker hand at the end of the run.
