At the Washington Spirit’s game against Reign FC, St. Jude and their supporters came together during Childhood Cancer Awareness month to raise money for the kids at St. Jude. As fans arrived, they were greeted by St. Jude volunteers who shared St. Jude giveaways, registered participants for the DC Walk/Run and signed folks up for a drawing to win a signed Spirit jersey. St. Jude supporters were able to grab refreshments and mingle at Eagle Bank Club as they waited for the game to start.
During half time, it was announced that St. Jude will be partnering with Tori Huster, co-captain of the Washington Spirit and official St. Jude Champion for the DMV region, in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!
Safe to say, the night was filled with fun and excitement - all for a worthy cause.
