Deets: The 5th Annual Single Mom’s Awards will be held at The Peninsula in Beverly Hills, California. The gala luncheon kicks off with honorees and guests walking the red carpet following with a silent auction and panel discussion which will be taking place after the awards ceremony. The organization is also set to honor ten extraordinary personalities who have made an impact in the world today and Mayte Garcia (Author, Dancer, and Entrepreneur) will be hosting this one-of-kind event for the first time in the organization’s history.

The nonprofit organization is a beacon of hope for "under-resourced mothers who are trying to enrich the lives of their children by creating a strong family culture through comprehensive programs of mentorship, financial aid, family counseling and entrepreneurial training that Single Moms’ Planet offers them” said Neferteri Plessy, Founder of Single Mom’s Planet. The digital platform continues to expand its efforts “to help empower women who are single mothers by also allowing them to have a global peer to peer support network that they feel helps them face challenges together."

The Top Visionary Honoree will go to Anastasia Soare, CEO of Anastasia Beverly Hills who is an innovator in the beauty industry and built her brand as a single mom. She shared her thoughts about what this visionary honor means to her. "When I think about what it means to be a visionary, I think about those who manage to hold their dreams closely with their eyes focused on the future. As single mothers, not only do we nurture the dreams of our children, we often push through to realize the dreams we hold for ourselves. I accept this award on behalf of every single mom out there who strives to be the best and do the best for their children. We may have different journeys, but the truth is, we are all the same.
