Deets: The Watermill Center will host its 22nd Annual Summer Benefit & Auction, entitled Circus of Stillness... the power over wild beasts, on Saturday, July 25 near Southampton. This highly anticipated, one-of-a kind evening honoring philanthropist Inga Maren Otto brings together the worlds of theater, art, fashion, and design and features special performances by The Center’s forthcoming resident artists Cirkus Cirkör, a new work designed for the event by celebrated artist, Daniel Arsham, and over two dozen site-specific installations by international artists participating in the 2015 International Summer Program. Proceeds from the evening’s benefit, live auction—helmed by auctioneer Simon de Pury, and online auction (powered by Artsy at: artsy.net/watermill-auction)—support the center’s year-round artist residency program.
