Deets: A sold-out crowd of more than 600 young philanthropists and guests enjoyed an array of food and drinks at the 4th annual Taste of Summer event on Saturday night, July 25th, at the Victorian, Santa Monica.
Guests were treated to gourmet tastings from restaurants such as Leona, Valerie Confections, Belcampo Meat Company and La Vecchia among others. More than $95,000 was raised to support the Fulfillment Fund’s mission to make college a reality for students in educationally and economically under-resourced communities.
Honorary Chairs, Chef Nyesha Arrington, Confectioner and Chef Valerie Gordon and KABC Food Reporter, Lori Corbin enjoyed the festivities and mingled with the guests under the stars.
Taste of Summer participants included Anheuser Busch, Belcampo Meat Company, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Brick+Mortar, California Culinary Retreats, Cismontane Brewing, Club W, Craft Brew Alliance , Dunkin' Donuts, Dylan's Candy Bar, Foodie Shares, Gustus Vitae, The Hive Santa Monica, Honest Abe Cider, Josh Cellars & Ramon Bilbao Spanish Wines from Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, Kettle Chips, Korbel, La Vecchia, Milk Jar Cookies, Red Bull, Sam’s by the Beach, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Stomp Out Student Loans/Terra Fossil Winery, Stone Brewing Company, Temerity Vineyard Valerie Confections, Wine Living with Shanna, and many more.
