Deets: On June 23, the fourth annual Solstice event benefited amFAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, at the luxurious Hudson Hotel in New York City. More than 300 young professionals gathered to enjoy cocktails, a silent auction, and music on Hudson’s private outdoor terrace in midtown Manhattan, just steps from Central Park.
The outdoor party celebrated the summer solstice with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and music by Jasmine Chess and The Misshapes. The Solstice party is part of the amfAR generationCURE event series, spearheaded by a new generation of young professionals dedicated to helping amfAR accelerate its search for a cure for HIV/AIDS by grooming the next, and hopefully the last, generation of HIV/AIDS champions. amfAR’s generationCURE is a group of energetic young amfAR supporters committed to ending the AIDS pandemic in their lifetime by helping the Foundation raise funds for its cure-focused research programs. Since its inception in 2011, generationCURE has raised more than $210,000 for amfAR through events in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.
