Deets: Singapore Fashion Week (SFW) is a high-profile fashion event organised by Mercury Marketing & Communications.
Casting a spotlight on Asian talent, SFW is a showcase of world-class collections by top and emerging designers and labels and is the only fashion week in the world that features established and emerging regional and homegrown designers and labels alongside the world's most iconic international designers.
In its previous eight successful editions as a consumer-centric fashion festival, the organisers have hosted international designers such as Carolina Herrera, Roberto Cavalli, Hussein Chalayan, Prabal Gurung, Zac Posen, Peter Pilloto, Erdem, Angela Missoni, Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared and Roland Mouret alongside top Asian and homegrown designers and labels such as Tsumori Chisato (Japan), Greyhound (Bangkok), Farah Khan (Malaysia), Dresscamp (Japan), Ong Shunmugam and Raoul (Singapore).
For its iconic return in 2015, SFW has broadened its scope to include thought-leadership initiatives and industry development. This year, SFW introduces a global strategic alliance with the Council of Fashion Designers of America and a new strategy to bring about internationalisation of Singapore designers. Singapore Fashion Week, alongside Blueprint, is a pillar event of the Asia Fashion Exchange.
