Deets: On May 13, 2015 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, The Paley Center for Media hosted a star-studded Tribute to African-American Achievements in Television. The special event celebrated over 70 years of groundbreaking and historic African-American contributions in television across a wide array of genres – drama, comedy, news, talk, sports, and music. 

Spotted: Hollywood’s elite including Oprah, Kerry Washington, Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Gabrielle Union, Lee Daniels, Cicely Tyson, Uzo Aduba, Gladys Knight, Shemar Moore, Brandy Norwood, Gayle King, Phylicia Rashad, Kelly McCreary, Julius Erving, Alicia Quarles, and more were on hand to celebrate these achievements.
