Deets: Parsons School of Design will hold its annual Fashion Benefit on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the River Pavilion at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The event will honor LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (presented by Saks president Marc Metrick) and Marc Jacobs (presented by Anna Wintour). Funds raised at the event support scholarships to The New School for students who would otherwise be unable to attend the university.
The benefit, now in its 67th year, has honored fashion innovators including Jason Wu, Hugo Boss, Donna Karan, Reed Krakoff, Francisco Costa, and Diane von Furstenberg. Highlights of the Fashion Benefit are the runway show of select collections by graduating students and the naming of the Designers of the Year.
6:30 PM. Red Carpet and Cocktail Reception
7:30 PM. Seated Dinner, Fashion Show, and Awards, followed by Dessert and Afterparty
Champagne, wine, and spirits generously donated by Moët Hennessy USA.
